National Strategy for Suicide Prevention (NSSP)

 

The NSSP is a U.S. not-for-profit Web site and a collaborative effort of the CDC, SAMHSA, NIH, HRSA, and IHS to offer suicide prevention resources to both consumers and professionals.

National Youth Violence Prevention Resource Center (NYVPRC)

 

The NYVPRC is a not for profit organization whose sponsoring organizations are the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as numerous other federal agencies in the United States. The NYVPRC is a central source of federal information on prevention and intervention programs, publications, research, and statistics on violence committed by and against children and teens.

Suicide Prevention Australia (SPA)

 

SPA is a not for profit organization that supports Australian life by providing community awareness, advocacy, information, training, and conferences. SPA is supported by the Department of Health and Aged Care in Australia.

Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC)

 

The SPRC supports suicide prevention with the best of science, skills and practice. The SPRC is funded through a cooperative agreement between the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC). Additionally, SPRC works in collaboration with 10 partner organizations. The SPRC provides technical assistance, training, and informational materials to strengthen suicide prevention networks around the United States and advance the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention.
