The
Australian Institute of Family Studies is a not for profit
organization that began with the Australian Family Law Act
in 1975. The Commonwealth Government officially established
the Australian Institute of Family Studies in February 1980
to promote the identification and understanding of factors
affecting marital and family stability in Australia.
