Tailored Search Database Information

All of the databases offered within the Tailored Search of the National Library of Medicine DO NOT function in the same way.   There are many technical reasons for the differences in search capabilities.   While the PSN team continues to increase the search capabilities offered within this Web site, we want to make sure that you have the tools and information needed to easily navigate the Tailored Search capabilities of the PSN Web site.

  1. Database of Professional Journals (PubMed)
    • This is the ONLY database the effectively uses the check boxes available on the Tailored Search Page.

    • You will view your results within the PSN Web site frame
