Purpose

This Web site is intended to:

  • Help those who help persons who are concerned about someone who may be at risk for suicide to locate and access tailored resources about suicide prevention.
  • Educate the public about suicide prevention and other suicide related topics.
  • Educate mental health clinicians and other professionals about suicide prevention education and research
  • Promote active collaboration among professionals in all segments of suicide prevention treatment, policy, education and research
  • Promote active collaboration among consumers in segments of suicide prevention education, grief support, and suicide prevention advocacy
 
Intended Audience

We are dedicated to promoting the use of tailored information resources to help persons who are concerned about another who may be suicidal to prevent death by suicide.
