Sometimes finding the resource that you need, when you need it is difficult. Additionally, finding the most reputable resources from the many offerings that are published can be overwhelming. During the times when some extra help is needed, the Online Guide can provide valuable assistance.

  

The Online Guide is a “real person" especially trained to locate authoritative suicide prevention esources. Accessing the Online guide is easy, start by linking to the Online Guide email and typing your request. After the Online Guide receives your request, you should receive a personalized and tailored answer within 24 hours.  Often, however, users receive replies to their requests within 8 hours.

  • Specific age, ethnicity, risks or associated factors for which you are seeking information about suicide prevention
  • Type of resource that you are seeking. Resource types include: books, articles, media, Web sites, screening tools
  • Any limiters with respect to the “publishing dates" of the resource, examples are: "articles between 1998-2003" or "no book published before 1995”
