The Preventing Suicide Network ascribes to the Health on the Net Foundation Code (HON) and is a recipient of the HON seal [note this is pending, once the site is completed]. HON is an international, independent Web site accreditation body that has reviewed and recognized the PNS Web site for compliance with the eight HON quality and ethics standards.

Additionally, the Preventing Suicide Network is a licensee of the TRUSTe Privacy Program [the license will be in place once the site is complete]. TRUSTe is an independent, nonprofit organization whose goal is to build users' trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the use of fair information practices.
