Suicide is an extremely personal and emotionally charged subject. Perhaps you are using this site to gain information about how to help a friend or classmate who might be suicidal, or maybe you are a teacher trying to find information for a worried parent.

Information Collected & its Use

Two types of information are collected:

 

  1. Personal, or “individually identifiable,” information that you provide to us.
  2. Common Web server/visitor traffic information, often called “aggregate information.”  Normally, this type of basic information is tracked as part of the Web site access or log on processes. This type of information describes the overall traffic patterns for the site. We do not report on individual user sessions.

  • Right to Request Restriction: You may request that we not use or disclose all or part of your personal information, including use or disclosure for a particular purpose or to a particular person. However, we are not required to agree to such restriction.
