Parental Notice Approved House: Health Providers Would Report Teens

 

A report in the Washington Post notes:

 

“Virginia's House of Delegates today voted to require public health officials, doctors and counselors to notify parents whenever teenagers seek treatment for depression, contemplation of suicide, pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases.”
