There are a number of reputable suicide hotline resources available on the Internet. Suicide hotlines offer crisis counseling for persons who are suicidal and provide support and information for persons helping individuals at risk for suicide. You may find suicide hotlines particularly helpful during times of a difficult emergency or crisis situation. |

The National Hopeline Network is a U.S. Web site developed by the Kristin Brooks Foundation and recognized by David Satcher, former Surgeon General of the U.S., as the national crisis hotline network, providing resources for crisis services in the U.S., Canada, England, and Singapore.
