What to do to help Title

In the section “What to do to help”, information and resources on topics like treatment facilities, suicide hotlines, ethical and legal considerations, standard treatments, and survivors of suicide information is provided.   These informational tools will help to better your knowledge of appropriate and effective treatment methods in order to be proactive in helping others to get the suicide prevention treatments that they need.

The term “What to do to help” is used as a general definition for the treatment of suicidal thoughts and actions.   Find information that will help all individuals in helping roles to be more knowledgeable and effective when interacting and working with people who are at risk for suicide or currently suicidal.
